Services

Two directions, one desk. If you are importing into Brazil we run the market entry, the company and the regulatory side. If you are sourcing from Brazil we run the supplier search, the verification and the shipment checks. We do not mix the two.

The short answer

Importing into Brazil and sourcing from Brazil are different jobs with different rules, and we keep the service lines separate the same way the site keeps the content separate. On the import side, the flagship service is the market entry assessment: a paid, 2-3 week answer on whether your product sells in Brazil before you commit to a company. On the sourcing side, supplier search and supplier due diligence cover finding a Brazilian exporter and checking one you already found.

Importing into Brazil

The full path runs from a first market read to a running operation, and you can stop at any stage. Pricing has the package breakdown; below is what each stage actually covers.

  • Brazil market entry assessment. Product classification, demand validation against ComexStat, the regulatory access map, landed cost against competitor prices, and a go/no-go verdict, in 2-3 weeks. The distributor shortlist and sales plan are the next stage up. From USD 1,500.
  • Company set-up. Ltda or S.A. formation, CNPJ, inscrição estadual, RADAR accreditation and the bank account, run through our lawyer (OAB) and accountant (CRC) partners.
  • Regulatory registration. Coordinating ANVISA, MAPA or INMETRO registration and mandatory certification, where the actual registration is filed by the licence holder and we coordinate the process.
  • Import operations. NCM classification, landed cost calculation, despachante coordination, and choosing the port and customs regime, including RioComex and Ex-Tarifário where they apply.
  • Distributor search. Finding and vetting Brazilian distributors, and reviewing the contract that decides what termination costs.
  • Marketplace launch. Mercado Livre, Amazon Brasil and similar platforms, choosing between the cross-border Remessa Conforme route and selling through your own entity.
  • Hiring and payroll. Loaded cost of a hire and ongoing payroll through our accountant partner (CRC), or an EOR provider sourced on request.
  • Accounting and compliance. Ongoing bookkeeping, import-specific reporting and tax regime choice for an operating importer.
  • Localization and marketing. Portuguese label and site copy compliant with RDC 81/2008, plus launch marketing coordination.

Sourcing from Brazil

Sourcing runs on four checks that do not substitute for each other: find the exporter, verify it, secure the payment, and inspect the cargo.

  • Brazilian supplier search. A checked shortlist of 3-5 exporters for your commodity and volume, registries confirmed before you get the list.
  • Brazilian supplier due diligence. A written report on an exporter you already found: registries, plant clearance, documents and the offer checked against known scam patterns.
  • Plant visit. A site visit with a photo and video report, checked against a commodity-specific checklist.
  • Contract and payment terms. Incoterm, letter of credit or documentary collection, and contract drafting review with a Brazilian lawyer.
  • Pre-shipment inspection coordination. We book and coordinate an independent, licensed inspection company; we do not inspect the cargo ourselves.
  • Buyer representation. A representative on the ground for negotiations, loading sign-off and trade fairs.

By segment

Some starting points cover a specific situation rather than one service: the licences a consumer brand needs, the regime an industrial supplier can use, the checks a commodity buyer runs, or what EU-Mercosur actually changes for an exporter.

How an engagement starts

  1. Free 30-minute call. You describe the product, the direction, and where you want it to land. We confirm whether it fits what we do.
  2. Assessment or scoping. On import, this is the market entry assessment itself. On sourcing, it is a short scoping conversation to size the search or the due diligence check.
  3. Written proposal. Scope and price in writing before any paid work starts. On import, the price comes from the package grid on pricing. On sourcing, it is quoted per deal because the commodity and scope vary too much for a fixed list.
  4. The work. We run it, coordinating our partner network (lawyer, accountant, customs broker, or an independent inspection company) wherever a licensed professional has to be the one signing off.

What we do not do

We do not guarantee a regulatory approval, a sale, or a specific outcome from any service on this page. We do not hold or move client money, and on sourcing we do not take a position in the cargo we help verify or inspect, which is what lets us tell a client when a deal is not worth doing. Where a licensed partner has to perform a step, such as filing a company registration or issuing an inspection certificate, that partner does it under their own licence, not ours.

Start with the free 30-minute call, or write out the brief first on the contact form.

Frequently asked questions

How does an engagement start?

With a free 30-minute call where you describe the product and the direction. We use it to confirm whether we can help and to give a real estimate, not a generic price list. If it is a fit, we send a short written proposal naming the scope and the price before any paid work starts.

Do you charge for the first conversation?

No. The 30-minute diagnostic call is free on both sides. What follows it, the assessment, the search, the due diligence report or the inspection coordination, is paid, and the price depends on the scope agreed on that call.

Can I buy one service without committing to the whole cycle?

Yes on both sides. Importing into Brazil is packaged in stages, market reconnaissance, route to sales, and full-cycle market entry, and you can stop after any stage. Sourcing from Brazil services can each be bought on their own; buyers often start with due diligence on a supplier they already found rather than a full search.
